Dr. Auroop R Ganguly, is coming to NIT H to take a 15 days summer school. He's Associate Professor at Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering and Principal Investigator of the Sustainability and Data Sciences Laboratory (SDS Lab) at Northeastern University in Boston Massachusetts. He's an IIT-MIT graduate and a PhD.

Details About The Summer School

  1. Scope Of Summer School: Applied Time Series, Spatial Statistics and Computational Statistics, with applications in engineering, science, and business. Analysis and forecasting methods for time series, spatial and spatiotemporal data will be introduced
  2. Upper Limit of Seats  No Bar! He's enthusiastic when he says, any number of students can participate!
  3. When is it?  A little before the start of the 2016-2017 Academic Year (15th July - 5th August)
  4. Can Passouts Attend? Yes
  5. The professor is a cool guy and fairly interdisciplinary. He would love to have students from every branch, BUT students deft/interested in Basic Mathematics, Coding and Data Sciences sare suggested to approach forward for sure. Background in programming languages like MATLAB or R is helpful but not required.
